With the discovery of neuro-peptides, the body-mind connection is no longer a theory.  We literally think with our entire body.   

In fact, the phrase body-mind connection is a little misleading, in that it implies two things that are connected, when it is actually one thing.  At the Medicine Wheel, we can help you unify the mind and body.

Re-programming the subconscious, balancing the chakras and removing self sabotage/negative self image patterns are some of the ways employed to make sure the contents of your mind don’t make you hurt.

In the Chinese tradition it is said that anger issues stress the liver, in the Western tradition it is known that a stressed liver will give you headaches.  I can adjust your neck and treat for headaches all day long, and you’ll feel better for a little while, but until the causative factor is addressed they will just keep coming back.

At the Medicine Wheel we can give you tools to address your issues.  I don’t need to know what specific issues are burdens for you in order to give you useful tools and exercises to make sure that what’s on your mind doesn’t prevent you from being well and whole.
